Salaries are very competitive. We pay by the hour with a minimum 37.5 hour full time work week. This means overtime gets paid. The base 37.5 hour salary is at least at the upper quartile of ACENZ total package salaries of 2020 and on top of this you have overtime and bonus(es) plus surgical insurance covered and a huge TMCo paid social calendar. This is an ideal opportunity for motivated, experienced civil engineer to join our dynamic, exciting consulting engineering company in Christchurch. We are seeking someone with excellent civil engineering and communication skills and a friendly, easy-going personality. You must have New Zealand experience (applications will not be considered without this). Roading experience would be excellent too, although we mostly complete private developments.
You will be involved in a wide variety of work including high quality residential, commercial, health, education, industrial, landscaping, etc projects throughout New Zealand, from project conception through to completion. Your key responsibilities will consist of civil engineering design (site works, levels, pavements, drainage, swales, siphonic drainage, treatment systems, resource consent applications, etc) for projects we are working on. This sometimes includes major infrastructure beyond project site boundaries such as roading, infrastructure services, etc.
We have many projects of varying sizes from commercial projects such as the shovel ready YMCA rebuild in the city, to Rolleston Town Centre where TMCo are designing the roading, infrastructure and civil works to this large commercial and civic venture. Projects vary from small to large, simple to complex across all types of sites. The Christchurch Adventure Park is a well known project we completed all infrastructure, roading design and civil works for. The team is fantastic with mostly repeat clients and a reputation for excellence – this has caused significant growth, despite COVID, hence this advert.
